FLY YOUR DJI MINI 2 IN A CONGESTED AREA!

Under the UK’s new regulations of drone use, the DJI Mini 2 has become a popular choice for operators who wish to get closer to people and buildings.
Previously under the old regulations, you couldn’t fly closer than 150m of residential area, unless you held a CAA PFCO.

The DJI Mini 2, or any aircraft under the 250g threshold, can be flown with no separation distance to people and over them (but not over crowds).
This is a perfect choice for those wishing to conduct roof surveys in areas that would have previously required a CAA exemption for reduced distances.

In the video below, I explain the requirements to fly the DJI mini 2 or any aircraft that’s under 250grams, in the Open Category A1.
